Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 27 June 2026
This page explains how to delete your Bookshelf account and the personal data associated with it. Bookshelf lets you sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook. When you delete your account, we remove the data tied to it as described below.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app
- Open the Bookshelf app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and personal data will be permanently removed.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email us at privacy@streamsoft.rs from the email address associated with your account (or include your Bookshelf username), with the subject line “Delete my data”. We will verify your identity and process the request.
What gets deleted
- Your account and authentication identifiers (including the connection to your Apple/Google/Facebook login).
- Your username and profile information.
- Projects and book entries that you own, and the cover images you uploaded.
Please note: projects shared with collaborators may continue to exist for those collaborators if they are co-owners; content created by other collaborators is not deleted. We may retain limited records where required by law, after which they are securely deleted.
How long it takes
Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once your data has been removed.

📌 The in-app “Delete account” flow described above is not built yet in the app — make sure it exists before launch, or rely on the email option until then. Review the contact email and company details before publishing publicly.
